A modern and elegant large span medium rise hangar, constructed to suit the functional needs of the client and rationalise the airport’s ground service teams. From site-wide to a single optimum location, this hangar provides clear span storage for airside operations vehicles and maintenance equipment. With bi-fold doors for easy access to the rest of the airport, while also containing office and welfare accommodation as well as engineering and workshop facilities. The project also involved extensive apron works, taxiway lighting and services relocation, landscaping, yard areas, housing and infrastructure to accommodate the wide range of client requirements and was completed within an operational business airport.
