Inseen Construction undertook the management of the Health and Safety process working alongside the principal contractor during the 2012 Olympic games. The BMW pavilion which incorporated craned in steel framing bolted onto a platform and a successful complex scaffold over the Olympic park river where the building was completed. The Coca Cola Pavilion, with a challenging detail involving special rope access teams to fix large aluminium interactive sound cushions to a cylindrical steel frame and spiral staircase, whilst they were held in position by specialist mini cranes. Finally, the EDF Energy pavilion. A steel frame construction again with an interactive element and a complex internal funnel with the exterior all wrapped in a special non-combustible cladding material.
When the Olympics finished, after the successful health and safety management Inseen were appointed to demolish the Coca Cola and EDF Pavillion and reinstate all surfaces to the public health layer.
